This page explains how Jelly.Tools uses cookies. The short version: we use only essential session cookies. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser by a website you visit. Cookies serve many purposes — some are essential for a site to work, others track your activity across the web for advertising or analytics purposes.
Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
connect.sid |
Server-side session cookie. Maintains your login state and stores your Twitch access token server-side so you stay logged in as you navigate between pages. | Session (deleted when browser closes or on logout) | Essential |
Cookies we do not use
- Analytics cookies — We do not use Google Analytics, Hotjar, or any other analytics service that places cookies in your browser.
- Advertising cookies — We do not serve targeted advertising and do not use advertising network cookies.
- Social media tracking cookies — We do not embed social media tracking pixels.
Third-party cookies
When you are redirected to Twitch to authenticate via OAuth, Twitch may set their own cookies. These are governed by Twitch's Cookie Notice, not ours.
Managing cookies
Because we use only essential session cookies, blocking or deleting cookies will prevent Jelly.Tools from functioning — you will not be able to log in. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, but doing so will log you out of the site.
To revoke Jelly.Tools' access to your Twitch account entirely, visit your Twitch Connections settings and disconnect Jelly.Tools.
