Jelly.Tools is a suite of tools for Twitch streamers and moderators, built and operated by JellyPhishes. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.
1. What data we collect
When you connect your Twitch account via OAuth, we receive and store the following information from Twitch:
- Your Twitch user ID, login and display name
- OAuth access and refresh tokens used to make API requests on your behalf. These are stored encrypted in our database so that Jelly.Tools Pro features (such as unfollow alerts and stream overlays) can keep working while you are not on the site.
- The list of channels you moderate, so we can offer those channels' tools to you
For the Unfollow Checker tool specifically, we store a snapshot of your follower list in our database so that changes can be detected across sessions. This data is associated with your Twitch user ID and is updated each time you run a check.
If you subscribe to Jelly.Tools Pro or buy a gift, payments are handled by Stripe. We create a Stripe customer record linked to your Twitch user ID using the email address and display name on your Twitch account, and Stripe collects your payment details and billing address. We store your Stripe customer ID and your subscription status, currency and renewal dates. For gifts we store who bought the gift, which channel received it, its length and price, and whether it was sent anonymously — the recipient sees the buyer's Twitch name unless the gift was anonymous. We never see or store your full card details.
If you previously linked a Patreon account on the Membership page, we store your Patreon user ID, the email address on that Patreon account, and your pledge status. You can disconnect it from the Membership page at any time.
2. How we use your data
- Your access token is used exclusively to make Twitch API requests on your behalf — for example, fetching your follower list, subscriber list, or clip data.
- Follower snapshots are stored only to power the Unfollow Checker and are not used for any other purpose.
- We do not sell, share, or rent your data to any third party.
- We do not use your data for advertising targeting or profiling.
3. Cookies and sessions
Jelly.Tools uses a single session cookie to maintain your login state while you use the site. The session itself is stored on our server for up to 30 days so you stay signed in between visits. This cookie is essential for the site to function and is deleted when you log out or when the session expires. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
4. Data retention
Sessions expire after 30 days of inactivity or when you log out. Stored Twitch tokens are kept until you choose Disconnect Twitch on the Membership page (which also revokes them with Twitch), or until Twitch reports them as revoked. Follower snapshots stored for the Unfollow Checker are retained until you choose to delete them, or until you revoke Jelly.Tools' access to your Twitch account.
5. Third-party services
Jelly.Tools communicates with the Twitch API to retrieve data for each tool. Your use of the site is also subject to Twitch's Privacy Notice. Membership payments and status are handled by Stripe (and, for legacy members, Patreon). If you enable automated unfollow monitoring (a Pro feature), we store the Discord webhook URL you provide and send follower change notifications — the Twitch display names and logins of accounts that followed or unfollowed — to that webhook, which is handled under Discord's Privacy Policy. Remove the monitor at any time to delete the webhook URL. The Security Check page (Pro) can, at your request, look up the email address on your Twitch account in Have I Been Pwned to list known data breaches; the address is sent to that service for the lookup only and the result is cached on our server for 24 hours. Sound files uploaded for Sound Alerts (Pro) are stored on our server together with the uploader's Twitch user ID; sounds marked as community sounds are visible to other signed-in users along with the uploading channel's name. Deleted sounds are removed from the library immediately and the files purged periodically. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party analytics or tracking services.
6. Advertising
Jelly.Tools displays advertisements served by LootLabs. Ads are not shown to the site owner, to Pro members (including gifted Pro), to Patreon supporters, or to anyone with an ad-free override on their account.
On pages where ads are enabled, LootLabs and the ad networks it works with may use cookies and similar technologies to serve personalised or non-personalised ads based on your browsing activity. LootLabs acts as an independent data controller for the data collected through its advertising services. You can review LootLabs' Privacy Policy for details on how that data is handled.
7. Your rights
- Revoke access: You can disconnect Jelly.Tools from your Twitch account at any time via your Twitch Connections settings. This will invalidate your access token and end your session on Jelly.Tools.
- Request deletion: To request deletion of any stored follower snapshot data, contact us at the address below.
- Access your data: To request a copy of the data we hold about you, contact us at the address below.
